You found some great research. It is unfortunate that many do not think an online education is as valuable or effective as a traditional education. Also, I have heard that some textbook companies are moving completely to e-books. As you mentioned, times are changing in the field of education. Great post!

ReplyDeleteHello Cami,
ReplyDeleteDue to the transient military community I live in, an online education is the norm and is not disregarded. I am prior military and took a few online courses, but continued to complete my undergraduate in a traditional class format, but I completed my M.Ed. online through Liberty. It has been a great experience for me due to family commitments and now as a teacher. On the topic of assessments, I think online learning should offer a variety of ways to assess students due to the difference in learning styles. Formal assessments could be completed via research and essays. I am not a fan of testing as I believe most students do not retain the information. Thank you for great post!
